Thanks to its proven results, manual lymph drainage is also widely used in healthcare<\/strong>. It is done oil free.<\/p>

Effects<\/p>

Its effects include faster sports recovery<\/strong> (lactic acid removal from muscles), toxin elimination<\/strong> during slimming procedures, improved metabolism and immunity<\/strong>, slowing down skin aging, acne prevention, reduction of swelling<\/strong>, prevention of cellulite, lipedema<\/strong> etc., shorter recovery period after surgeries<\/strong>, complex detox<\/strong> of the body. Manual Lymph Drainage is a generally beneficial method that is considered the queen of regeneration worldwide.<\/p>

Details<\/p>

The main task of lymphatic system is to equalize pressure and volume of fluids inside the body, to transport waste and immune cells and to activate immune response. The pricipal of manual lymph drainage lies in enhancing lymph flow through lymphatic passage ways. Lymph is made of excess fluid drained from intercellular space. This fluid containes also white blood cells, fats, excess proteins and other waste products. It is partially filtered inside lymph nodes where the immune system also gets information regarding antigens and pathogens contained. Following, the fluid is taken back to blood, processed by other organs and discarded by the urinary system. Lymph is naturally pushed forward by muscle and surrounding tissue movement and with contraction of muscles lining the insides of lymphatic vessels. Flaps, similarly to those in blood veins, prevent back flow. Superficial lymphatic vessels and nodes are located just underneath the skin. With a gentle pressure in the right direction and rhythm, we can positively affect this system.<\/p>

Some people feel instantly fresh and light after manual lymph drainage, while some get a heavy feeling and stay tired for the rest of the day. It is good to count with both possibilities, both are common just like with any other kind of detox.<\/p>

The apropriate length of one therapy is at least 60 minutes for the upper body, 75 minutes for the lower body and up to 120 minutes for a full body. The body is an interconnected system, therefore the full body therapy is ideal. However, awareness is necessary when health issues occur due to impact on the heart, liver and kidneys.
